The first-ever&nbsp;Super Bowl&nbsp;to be powered entirely by renewable energy, this historic event sourced electricity from the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edf-re.com\/project\/arrow-canyon-solar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arrow Canyon<\/a>&nbsp;solar and energy storage project in&nbsp;Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed, owned, and operated by\u00a0EDF Renewables, the\u00a0Arrow Canyon\u00a0project uses more than\u00a0600,000\u00a0Canadian Solar photovoltaic solar modules. With a capacity of 275 MW, complemented by a battery energy storage (BESS) facility, the project ensured a seamless and sustainable power supply throughout the\u00a0Super Bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Allegiant Stadium&#8217;s\u00a0use of solar power to meet the energy demands of one of the\u00a0U.S.\u00a0sports industry&#8217;s showpiece events highlights the viability of renewable energy sources in powering major events and facilities.
