The energy storage solutions will be used for\u00a0Root-Power&#8217;s\u00a0Coryton Energy Park project, in Corringham,\u00a0Essex, England.\u00a0Construction of the project started in late\u00a0May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>e-STORAGE and\u00a0Root-Power\u00a0have entered into an Energy Storage Supply Agreement and Long-Term Service Agreement.\u00a0Root-Power\u00a0plans to build over 1 GWh energy storage systems in the\u00a0UK, over the next three to four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coryton project will employ\u00a0Canadian Solar&#8217;s\u00a0SolBank\u00a0energy storage solution. Certified under UL standards for safety and performance, SolBank features high-density lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cells, an active balancing Battery Management System (BMS), and an innovative liquid cooling Thermal Management System (TMS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With its superior energy density and compact design, SolBank offers significant land cost savings, making it an economical choice for large-scale projects adapted to\u00a0UK\u00a0project requirements.
