KITCHENER, ON,\u00a0Oct. 1, 2025\u00a0\/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0Canadian Solar Inc.<\/a>\u00a0(the “Company” or “Canadian Solar”) (NASDAQ: CSIQ) today announced that\u00a0e-STORAGE<\/a>, part of the Company’s majority-owned subsidiary\u00a0CSI Solar Co., Ltd.\u00a0(“CSI Solar”), has entered into Battery Storage Agreements (BSA) and Long-Term Services Agreements (LTSA) with\u00a0Aypa Power\u00a0for the Elora and\u00a0Hedley\u00a0battery energy storage projects in\u00a0Ontario, Canada.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, the Elora and\u00a0Hedley\u00a0projects will provide 420 MW \/ 2,122 MWh of new storage capacity to\u00a0Ontario’s\u00a0grid, making them among the largest energy storage facilities currently under development in the province. The investments underscore\u00a0Ontario’s\u00a0growing role in large-scale storage deployment and highlight continued collaboration between e-STORAGE and Aypa Power\u00a0to deliver critical energy infrastructure across\u00a0North America.

Both projects will deploy e-STORAGE’s\u00a0SolBank<\/a>\u00a0product under 20-year LSTAs that include continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and performance guarantees. These contracts are structured to ensure high system availability and predictable service revenues over the life of the assets. Delivery is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2026, with commercial operation expected in the first half of 2027.
