The report outlines the Company&#8217;s ongoing efforts in environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and corporate governance while supporting the global transition to clean energy.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sustainability disclosures in this report are aligned with global standards established by the\u00a0Sustainability Accounting Standards Board\u00a0(SASB) and Global Reporting Initiative\u00a0(GRI), with reference to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) set by the\u00a0International Sustainability Standards Board\u00a0(ISSB). With independent validation in place,\u00a0Canadian Solar&#8217;s\u00a0climate commitments are anchored in science and subject to external accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advancements in resource efficiency and circular economy:\u00a0<\/strong>The Company implemented 59 energy conservation projects and 17 water-saving initiatives in 2025, delivering 101 GWh in energy savings and 1.46 million tons in water savings. Regarding its product carbon footprint,\u00a0Canadian Solar&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadiansolar.com\/module\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PV modules<\/a>\u00a0obtained Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and ECS certification, while its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/csestorage.com\/solbank-3-0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SolBank 3.0<\/a>\u00a0battery energy storage system successfully completed a life cycle assessment. Furthermore, two of the Company&#8217;s manufacturing facilities earned\u00a0Zero-Carbon Factory\u00a0certification.
